Okay, folks,
It appears Noel, Alison and family will not need a bunch of us to help on Saturday but a few to several bulky guys ought to do the trick (most of the boxes are already gone, just larger pieces and furniture remains).
That said, please confirm your ability and willingness if you fit the "bulky" (or, "wiry and strong" will work as well) so I can let them know. The family wants to feed you for your efforts.
Remember, many of us will be busy in Wake Forest so the pool of helpers is smaller this week - please let me know.
RSVP by email to dtmerrilliii@gmail.com or by commenting on this blog.
ALSO - PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL BE SETTING UP THE TENT FOR MEMORIAL DAY IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS - THIS IS AN "ALL HANDS" ACTIVITY! PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW.
Thanks,
Dana Merrill.

On the way...
Okay, everyone, two out of three current moves accomplished! Congratulations!
The last one will be the Vande Slunt family on April 30th - if you're not out walking for life for, oh, 4,000 steps or so, please consider lending a hand to get them out of one place and into the next. If you're feeling particularly generous, you might offer both hands.
Thanks, again!

Move this week!
Thanks to those who helped with the Keyes move!
Now, on to our current ministry opportunity. Jennifer Holmberg is a widow with two children in our community who is losing her home due to her circumstance. Please let me know if you can come out and assist in moving her, first out of the house on Thursday and then into the new place on Friday - details above. Either reply to this email or comment on this blog posting, please. (By the way, 555 Timberlands Drive is pretty close to the Damings' - off Hart Road which is off Flat Rock Church road.)
Again, I know it can be inconvenient but you are very much needed and the more hands we get, the easier it is to be done quickly (not to mention the picture we give to her of the body working together if a bunch of guys show up!).

Three moves and a loving rebuke.
All, I apologize ahead of time, but please take this personally.
Lately, we have run pretty hot or cold on moves with the last one getting just one family (thanks Howells!) to help until I made emergency calls to Scott and Barry.
Contributing on these moves is often inconvenient and there are sometimes many of them in a row but I admonish you to make a better showing. It is really easy to value many things over doing these moves, but just as with our times of spiritual feeding, we need to be better about getting our priorities right when it comes to service.
That said, these are the upcoming:
Edie Keyes needs a hand (or, more to the point, several hands and a TRUCK)to move just a few pieces of furniture from Durham to Raleigh at 4:00 PM or after on Friday. Please RSVP to dtmerrilliii@gmail.com or comment on this blog if you can help!
Jennifer Henderson is a widow in our community who needs our help moving. I need a specific time but the date and address are above. Please mark your calendars and more information is forthcoming.
Finally, the Noel Vande Slunt family needs our help on what is probably one of the most challenging days of the year for our congregation! Please let me know if you can assist with their move on Saturday, April 30th (day of 4,000 Steps/Walk for Life). Again, specific times are forthcoming.

Kendrick Move-In, Guzman Move
Alright, the Fred Wolfe family move, though logistically challenging, is complete - thanks to all who came out!
The Mike Kendrick family move-in on Saturday is still on the agenda for noon. Please mark your calendars.
Also, the Guzman family will be moving sometime soon, details forthcoming. Wes will actually just be taping all his stuff into giant bundles and carrying them himself but would enjoy if the rest of the men of the church will come out to watch his immense strength in action.

Wolfe Update, Updated and Kendrick Move
UPDATE:
The Fred Wolfe family will need help with their truck on Monday (2/28) at 1:00 PM at 221 Stoke Hammond Court, Rolesville. If you cannot make the time, we are planning a backup slot at 6:00 PM. Please plan to come out but look for an update this evening!
Also the Mike Kendrick family is coming from Virginia and will need assistance next Saturday (3/5) at around noon at 2200 Valley Edge Drive, Unit 111, Raleigh (I'll talk to Ultiman about an early start that day so players can go straight there from the game).
Thanks, everyone, for the strong work getting our body moved!
